The Jan. 7 deadline for filing nomination papers for the April 1 spring election has come and gone, and Boscobel incumbents for city and school offices will face no opposition.

On the Boscobel School Board, incumbents Barb Puckett (Area 1) and Todd Miller (Area 2) are unopposed for new, three-year terms. Incumbent Ron Johnsrud (Area 3) has decided not to seek re-election, and his position remains open for the spring election.

Boscobel Common Council incumbents Barb Bell (First Ward), Sara Strang (Second Ward), Milt Cashman (Third Ward) and Roger Brown (Fourth Ward) are also unopposed for new, two-year terms, as is Mayor Steve Wetter.
