After Argyle eliminated Potosi ...

Platteville High School hosted the Southwest Wisconsin Technical College Robot Wars, a program to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education. Teams from Platteville, Iowa–Grant, Potosi, Argyle and Mineral Point modified robots supplied by Southwest Tech with the goal of scooping up more balls than the opposing robot. SWTC offers engineering classes that high school students can take in such areas as CAD/CAM, CNC and drafting. Credits are transferable to UW–Platteville and to Milwaukee School of Engineering. A Platteville High School graduate who took the SWTC program now works at Rayovac in Fennimore.
