Three from Platteville Middle School going to state Solo & Ensemble

On March 7, hundreds of music students participated in the South West Music Conference District Solo and Ensemble Festival in Richland Center.

Music students from Platteville Middle School performed in solos and ensembles for an adjudicator, receiving comments and a rating of their performance.

Three students performed Class A solos, earning a 1* rating, and advanced to the state Solo and Ensemble event at UW–Platteville April 25.

The Class A level is for highly skilled musicians and disciplined performers, typically of high school age.
