Bo at UWPlatteville Tuesday

As part of UW–Platteville’s sesquicentennial celebration, former men’s basketball coach Bo Ryan will return to campus as its Distinguished Lecturer in Williams Fieldhouse Bo Ryan Court Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.

UW–Platteville is having a year-long celebration of its 150-year history. Ryan was chosen in a university-wide poll as the sesquicentennial lecturer.

Ryan coached at UW–Platteville from 1984 to 1999, where he led the Pioneers to a record of 353–76 and NCAA Division III national championships in 1991, 1995, 1998 and 1999. After leaving UW–Platteville, Ryan coached at UW–Milwaukee before leading the Wisconsin Badgers from 2001 until his retirement in December 2015, with two NCAA Division I Final Four appearances.
