Boscobel High School students hosting Homecoming next week

Homecoming will be celebrated at Boscobel High School throughout the week of September 30 - October 5.  The cheerleaders have selected a variety of dress – up days for students to show our school spirit on Monday through Friday.  Float building will finish no later than 9:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Monday’s festivities will start at 6 p.m. with Sand Volleyball. Powder Puff begins at 7:00. The FFA will be selling concessions.

On Thursday, students and spectators can head to the edge of our school property for the annual bonfire at 8 p.m. (or after the Volleyball game). The band and cheerleaders will perform.

Friday’s events begin with a pep rally at 1:10 pm, and the announcement of Mr. & Mrs. Bulldog.  The Homecoming Parade winds through downtown at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 4.  The Homecoming Court will be riding in convertibles as the Junior and Senior High bands lead the class floats through downtown Boscobel. The football game against Fennimore begins at 7:00.

The Homecoming Dance will be held Saturday evening, October 5.  The sophomore class has selected “Under the Sea” as the theme for this year’s dance. The Homecoming Dance will be held from 8 p.m.-12:00 midnight at the High School Gym.  All BHS Alumni are invited to attend.  Music will be by Juice MC.  The Grand March will be at 9:30 p.m., when the King, Queen and the court will be presented. Admission is $5 per person and $10 per couple. Spectators ($3 each) may come until after the Grand March and should leave by 10:00.
