Michael “Mike” Myers of Ottumwa, Iowa, formerly of Platteville, beloved father, husband, and proud grandfather, died on June 23, 2026, in Iowa City, Iowa, at the age of 81.

Memorial services were held at noon on Tuesday, June 30, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville, WI. Pastor Mary Ann Floerke officiated. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville, where Military rites were accorded by American Legion Post 42 and VFW Post 5274. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Platteville Veterans Honor Roll Memorial Fund.
