A busy and noisy day is in store for everyone in Ferryville on Saturday, July 27. The day begins at 9 a.m. with a Market in the Park featuring Amish goods, produce and variety of products in Sugar Creek Park. Also at 9 a.m., many antique tractors will be arriving at Ferryville Community Center to register for the antique tractor pull. At noon, the Seventh Annual Reuben Knutson Memorial Tractor Pull begins. To register for the antique tractor pull, go online to www.ferryvilletractor.com.

Beginning at noon, all children will be able to participate in the Kids Games in the Ferryville Fire Department. Food and beverages will be available at the Community Center provided by Freeman Lutheran Church and adult beverages by the Ferryville Fire Department and First Responders. The location for GPS users is 170 Main Street, Ferryville, WI 54628

Transportation to the Market in Sugar Creek Park will be available via tractor and wagon. Food and a variety of vendors are available at the Market.

The annual Ferryville Vision & Promotion Raffle this year features a quilt titled ‘Turtles Gone Wild,’ as well as a Kay’s Potiques’ high-fired original stoneware bowl, a retired ‘Nellie’ American Girl Doll and a $100 Cabela’s gift certificate. All prizes will be on display and raffle tickets are available all day at the Ferryville Community Center. These raffle items will be drawn and winners announced at 9 p.m. The quilt was designed by Virginia Johnson of the Olde Tyme Quilt Shoppe with input from FV&PB members. Ms. Johnson has since passed away and so this is a very special quilt – her last one for the Ferryville Raffle.

The tractor pull will be ending at 4:30 p.m. Then activity will move downtown, where the restaurants will have specials. The Swing Inn and the Wooden Nickel Saloon both have food specials. The Sportsman’s will be featuring live music with a band to begin playing at 7 p.m.

The drawing for the previously mentioned items including the ‘Turtles Gone Wild’ quilt will be at 9 p.m. prior to the fireworks show. The Best Fireworks Show Around is put on each year by Mike and Roberta Callaway and their staff from Cheapo Depot/Fireworks Outlet. The fireworks are also sponsored by Ferryville Vision and Promotion Board with donations by the entire community.

Come to Ferryville on Saturday, July 27 for a fun-filled day and a great fireworks show.
