Flood repair efforts continue in Boscobel
Sanders Creek
City crews continue to work on infrastructure repairs following last month's flooding. Director of Public Works Mike Reynolds and other city workers are seen waiting for another load of cement at the railroad bridge over Sanders Creek west of the post office. This bridge, as well as the walking bridge at Oak Street and the Bluff Street bridge suffered significant damage to their footings when flood water undermined the structures. "We have over $100,000 in infrastructure costs associated with the flood," Reynolds said. City officials are still waiting to see what financial assistance, if any is forthcoming from the state of Wisconsin and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
