Join the carolers in Gays Mills

Everyone is invited to join their neighbors and friends in community caroling on the streets of Gays Mills on Sunday, Dec. 9.

Carolers will meet at the Arts Collective of the Driftless Art Gallery in the new Gays Mills Mercantile Center on Highway 171 at 4:30 p.m. Feel free to arrive earlier to enjoy the open house at the gallery.

After singing briefly at the open house, the carolers will walk to homes of folks in the new part of the village and then drive to the old part of the village to sing to those who live there by 6 p.m.

The usual stop at the Rivercrest Apartments will be at 6:15 p.m. so please join there if you can’t make the earlier part of the evening.

Caroling will continue to outdoors until people are cold or tired and then there will be a warm-up party before departing.

Song sheets will be provided, but please bring along a flashlight for better reading and a snack to share at the warm-up party afterwards. Tea, coffee, and hot cider will also be served.

This is a great way to spread the joy of the holiday season. Join the fun and sing along. Call Ellen Brooks, 735-4821, with questions.
