SHULLSBURG – McCoy Public Library will be running an IditaREAD Reading Challenge all of January!  Stop at the desk to pick up your reading sheet.  Once the challenge is complete bring it back for a prize!
Pop Factory
Players “Chicago”
DARLINGTON – The Pop Factory Players will be showcasing their performance of “Chicago” on Jan. 19, 20, and 21 starting at 7:30 p.m. with Sunday matinee at 1:30 p.m. at the Leona Havens Auditorium at Darlington High School. Tickets will be available at the door. Come check out this award-winning Broadway musical with plenty of jaw dropping songs and characters that are out of this world.
Pillowcase Dresses Mission Project workshop
BELMONT – Make sure to mark your calendar for the Pillowcase Dresses Mission Project workshop on Jan. 20 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., at the Pleasant View Methodist Church at12987 Pleasant View Rd., Belmont. and Learn
DARLINGTON - Lafayette County farmland owners can learn about how they can manage soil on their land to increase crop yields and benefit water quality at a lunch-and-learn Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the Town Bank in Darlington at 10 a.m.
Argyle Public Library Anniversary
ARGYLE – All are invited to the 137th Anniversary Party for the Argyle Public library on Sunday, Jan. 28 from 2-4 p.m. There will be appetizers (donated by the Argyle Women’s Club & Corner Pub & Deli), library gear available for sale (including digitized Argyle High School yearbooks), a Harry Potter green screen, Scavenger Hunt, a library-style book covering station (bring your books and we will cover and/or repair them for you), a handcrafted Argyle Library timeline and more!
NO Steak & Chicken Dinner
DARLINGTON – The Darlington American Legion Post #214 will NOT hold its Steak & Chicken Dinner during the months of December and January.
