The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting to discuss the proposed design and construction for the replacement of the Del La Mater-Hollow Creek Bridge on Highway 131 in Gays Mills. 

The meeting is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 6, at Community Commerce Center Board Room in Gays Mills.

 The purpose of this project is to replace a deficient bridge structure on Highway 131 over Del La Mater Hollow Creek. This project will include a bypass roadway during construction. In addition to the bridge replacement work, there will be maintenance work performed on the bridge over the Kickapoo River on Highway 171 in the Village of Gays Mills.

 The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project.  Maps showing the proposed improvement alternatives will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
