Marklein, Brooks plan four joint listening sessions in area

State Sen. Howard Marklein (R-Spring Green) and state Rep. Ed Brooks (R-Reedsburg) have announced joint listening sessions scheduled for Oct.  2.

“I am looking forward to connecting with the residents of the 17th District,” Marklein said. “Listening Sessions are a great opportunity to receive input as we study legislative priorities for the fall. I encourage all residents of the 17th District to join us to share your thoughts, ideas and concerns. We look forward to hearing many different perspectives and ideas.”

The first session of the day will be in Mauston at City Hall on Mansion St. from 9-10 a.m., Then they will travel to Necedah, where they will be at the Necedah Memorial Library from 11 a.m.-noon.

From there, Marklein and Brooks will hold a listening session in Kendall at the Village Hall from 1:30-2:30 p.m. They will finish the day in Elroy at the Elroy Public Library from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
