Don Matteson of rural Ontario shot this 10-point buck with a 17 inch spread during the opening weekend of gun deer hunting season. Kristi Jensen, manager of the Station 2 Pub at the Firemen’s Community Center on Mill St., reported Nov. 24 that a total of 347 deer were registered during the weekend–182 on Nov. 23 and 165 on Nov. 24. The Community Center is an official deer registration station
