Platteville Community Fund fall applications accepted

The Platteville Community Fund is accepting grant applications for its fall grant cycle through Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Applications must be completed online and submitted online no later than 11:59 p.m. Sept. 15. Mailed, emailed or faxed copies of applications and/or incomplete or late applications will not be considered.  

In making the grant application announcement, Platteville Community Fund advisory board chair Nathan Curry noted, “During our fall grant cycle we make awards from the earning of the following endowed funds:  the Platteville Community Fund, the Robert & Marian Graham Community Fund, the Schneller-Tang Community Fund and the Carmen & Eva Beining Community Fund,” said Platteville Community Fund advisory board chair Nathan Curry. “This year we expect to award nearly $16,000 in earnings generated by these endowed funds.”

The Platteville Community Fund Advisory Board is particularly interested in applications that support innovative projects for children and families, community access, and sustainability as well as those for events and activities that promote the arts and diversity. Projects or programs provided by charitable non-profits that serve the people within the Platteville Public Schools district are eligible for consideration. Requests from individuals are not eligible.  

The application form is available online at the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin website (www.cfsw.org); select the “Grants” tab and then “Open Grant Applications.”  

Completed applications must be submitted online no later than Sept. 15 at 11:59 p.m.
