Platteville Community Fund grant application deadline April 15

The deadline for receipt of applications for the spring grant cycle of the Platteville Community Fund is Monday, April 15.

Application forms are available online at www.cfsw.org. All grant applications must be received no later than April 15 at 4 p.m. at the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin office in Janesville (26 S. Jackson St., Janesville, WI 53548). Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

The Platteville Community Fund supports projects and programs that enhance the arts, education, health and human services, the environment and historic preservation in the greater Platteville area.

Charitable non-profit organizations serving the people of the Platteville area are eligible to apply. Requests from individuals are not eligible. During this granting period, awards will be presented in honor of the bequests of Elinore Loveland, Robert and Marjorie Hartshorn, and Clarence Gribble.

Including its first grant of $400 made in 2005 to the Platteville Fire Department, the Platteville Community Fund has made 92 grants totaling more than $155,000.
