Platteville pool passes now available

Passes for the Platteville Family Aquatic Center’s 2012 season are now available at City Hall in Platteville.

Before Saturday, season passes for children 5 and younger are $27 for residents and $41 for non-residents, $50 for resident and $75 for nonresident children 6 to 18, $55 for resident and $83 for nonresident adults 19 to 59, and $50 for resident and $75 for nonresident adults 60 or older. Family passes are $112 for residents and $168 for nonresidents.

On Saturday, prices increase to $30 for resident and $51 for nonresident children 5 and younger, $60 for resident and $85 for nonresident children 6 to 18, $65 for resident and $93 for nonresident adults 19 to 59, and $60 for resident and $85 for nonresident adults 60 or older. Family passes will increase to $122 for residents and $178 for nonresidents.

Passes can be purchased in the City Hall Recreation Office today and Thursday. Passes purchased at the pool Saturday will be charged at the higher rates.

The pool has new hours this year. Weekend open swims will be from 1 to 8:15 p.m. Starting Friday, June 8, weekday open swim will be from 1 to 4:50 p.m. and from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Lap swim will be weekdays from 5 to 6 p.m. and, between June 18 and Aug. 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The pool will be open June 4–7 from 4:30 to 8:15 p.m.
