DARLINGTON – Trisha Rowe, of Darlington, has announced her candidacy as the Republican Party candidate for Lafayette County Clerk of Court.
Rowe has been employed by Lafayette County since November 1993. Her current position is Lafayette County Victim Witness Coordinator in the District Attorney’s Office and Deputy in the Lafayette County Clerk’s Office. Rowe started as Deputy Clerk in the Clerk of Court’s Office in January 2006 and was promoted to the Chief Deputy in the Clerk of Court’s Office in July 2013. Rowe brings a wealth of experience to the position. Rowe knows the court system and the individuals, businesses, and departments it serves. She is knowledgeable about criminal, civil, and family court matters.
Rowe is proud of the 24 years of service provided to the people of Lafayette County. Rowe has an energetic, positive, and conscientious attitude. She is willing to listen and is open to new ideas. She has a strong desire to continue to serve the citizens of Lafayette County. As Clerk of Court, she will bring this dynamic mindset and desire to serve to all facets of the position.
Rowe is a lifelong resident of Lafayette County and a 1998 graduate of Darlington High School. The daughter of James and Therese Gratz, Rowe grew up on the family farm just outside of Darlington. She currently resides in Wiota Township with her husband; Al. Rowe has two children, Seth and Shai. Seth lives in Wiota Township and is owner/operator of Riverside Ag LLC, a dragline business. Shai is a senior at Clarke University in Dubuque. Al continues to work on the family farm with his father and son.
Rowe states, “My goal is and will always be, to serve the people of Lafayette County. My demeanor and 10 years’ experience in the Clerk of Court’s Office make me the ideal person for the position to serve the community of Lafayette County.”
