Former UW Football and retired NFL player Joe Thomas was the main speaker at the Grant County Law Enforcement Memorial service May 18. Thomas, who served the crowd food from his Madison restaurant afterwards, discussed the importance of law enforcement answering a call, unknown what they may expect.
