BLOOMINGTON—Alfred J. “Fritz” Recker, age 92, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at his home with his daughter Karen at his side. 

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 22, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington with Fr. John Meinholz officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Blake’s Prairie Cemetery, Bloomington Township.  Friends and family may call from 9 until 11 a.m. Friday, June 22, at the church where a parish rosary service will be held at 8:45 a.m. The Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Bloomington is assisting the family with services.
