Carl C. “Mike” Wachter, 97, Prairie du Chien, died peacefully Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Prairie Maison Care Center.

He was born March 6, 1917 in Midland, South Dakota, the son of Herman and Mertie (Kaiser) Wachter.

Friends may call Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. at the Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien and Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services.
