Charles Leonard “Lenny” Bennett, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Aug. 29.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 3 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Everyone was welcome to stay afterward for a luncheon at the funeral home. Burial was at the Leadmine Primitive Methodist Cemetery, where military rites were accorded. Visitation was from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.
