Dale Bevan, 89, of Platteville, died on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Orchard Manor, Lancaster. Funeral Services were 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at First English Lutheran Church, Platteville.  Rev. Michael Short officiated.  Burial was at Lima Union Cemetery.  Friends called from 3 - 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, or from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church.  Memorials may be made to the Dale Bevan Memorial Fund.  Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com
