Dewey E. Bockhop, 60, of Cuba City, formerly of Belmont, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 at Southwest Health Center Hospital, Platteville. Dewey was born on July 30, 1954 in Belmont the son of Dale “Barney” and Ila Mae (Busch) Bockhop.

Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29, 2014 at the Peace Lutheran Church, Belmont.  Rev. Connie Matye officiated.  Burial was at the Belmont Cemetery.  Friends called from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where the family invited everyone to wear clothing of their favorite sports team.  Friends also called from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the church.  Following the services there was a time of fellowship and lunch at the Sport’s Page, Belmont.
