Donald J. Metcalf, 82, Cassville, died on Monday, June 15 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Lancaster.

 A Mass of Christian burial was held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 19 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville. Father John Meinholz officiated. Burial with military honors accorded by the Abraham Hickok Wetmore American Legion Post No. 148 of Bloomington was at Charlotte Cemetery in Glen Haven Township. Visitation was on Thursday, June 18 from 5–7 p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville. A 4:45 p.m. parish scripture service was held. Visitation was also on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Donald J. Metcalf Memorial Fund has been established.
