Dorothy Jean Anthony, 72, of Belmont died on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 at her home.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 at the Peace Lutheran Church, Belmont.  Rev. Connie Matye will officiate. Burial will be at the Belmont Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.  Memorials may be made to the Dorothy Jean Anthony Memorial Fund. Dorothy was born on May 26, 1945 in Dodgeville, daughter of Marvin and Dorothy Marie (Johnston) Heins.  She was united in marriage to Charles Albert Anthony on July 20, 1966 in Rock Island, Ill.  She graduated from Belmont High School and after high school she attended Capri College in Dubuque, Iowa.  Dorothy worked as a beautician, and as waitress at the Dew Drop Inn when she was younger.  For many years she worked at Montchevre-Betin Inc. where she was a supervisor.   Dorothy was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Belmont. She enjoyed doing puzzles, needlework, reading, gardening and tending to her flowers.  She always enjoyed a good game of euchre and to sit down and play the piano.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Anthony; two sons, Robert (Hilary) Anthony and Mike (Lacie) Anthony; five grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; two step-grandchildren; one sister, Deb (John) Larson; one brother, Charlie (Laurie) Heins; sisters-in-law, Meredith Heins and Donna White; brother-in-law, Glenn Anthony, and nieces, nephews and a great-nephew.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold; father and mother-in-law, Glenn and Wilma Anthony, and brother-in-law, Bill Barcomb.
