Dorothy M. Goetz, 87, of Platteville, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at home. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Dorothy loved the Lord and is now free from pain and ailments, resting comfortably in the arms of Jesus.

The memorial service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at Community Evangelical Free Church, Platteville. Pastor Jason Sasse will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday at the church. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family. Memorials may be made to the Dorothy M. Goetz Memorial Fund.
