Ed lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the age of 61.

Services were held on Monday, August 27, 2012 at the United Methodist Church, 104 Buchanan St. Boscobel, Pastor Stan Pegram officiated. Burial will be in the Boscobel Cemetery at a later date. The Beeman-Patchak Funeral Home of Boscobel assisted the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Boscobel United Methodist Church or Grant County Cancer Coalition.
