Francis Kenneth “Kenny” Fure, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 4 at ManorCare Health Services in Platteville.

A Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville.  Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Platteville, where military rites were accorded by VFW Post #5274 and American Legion Post #42. Father Alex Navarro officiated. Visitation was  from 3–5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7 at the Melby Funeral Home and Crematory in Platteville. There was a parish rosary at 2:45 p.m. Visitation continued  on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
