Genevieve “Gen” A. Hale, 89, of Platteville died on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Southwest Health Center Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Lutheran Church of Peace, Platteville. Rev. Jeff Pedersen will officiate.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville.  Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where there will be a VFW Auxiliary service at 4:00 p.m.; friends may also call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church.  Memorials may be made to the Genevieve A.
