MENOMONIE—Irene Annette (Meyer Cobean) Schroeder, age 92, formerly of Hazel Green and Platteville, died on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, in Menomonie.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cuba City. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the Gockel Cemetery, rural Glen Haven, later that day with military honors accorded by the Temperly-Duncan American Legion Post of Hazel Green. Memorials may be given to the Salvation Army in your area, the Women in Service to America Foundation of Washington, DC, and the Freedom Honor Flight of La Crosse.
