James “Junior” Gobin, 88, of Preston, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veteran’s Hospital in Madison, surrounded by his family.

    The funeral service was held on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at 12 p.m. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Jean Bartlett officiated. Burial was in the West Fork Cemetery, Richland County. Visitation was held on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Military Honors were accorded  by the Daugherty-Larson American Legion Post #446 of Steuben. The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel is assisting the family.
