John “Hans” Ubersox, age 89, of rural Shullsburg, passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at Lafayette Manor in Darlington. He was born Feb. 27, 1925 Seymour Township, the son of Frederick and Hannah (Christen) Ubersox. 
    Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 339 East Louisa Street in Darlington with Rev. Carol Johnson officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation was held Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at O’Flahrity-Erickson Funeral Home, 235 North Judgement St., Shullsburg, and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at the church.
