John J. Tippett, 65, Rewey, died on Tuesday, June 7.

A Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 13 at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Belmont.  Father Jim Leeser officiated. Burial was at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Galena, Ill. Visitation was from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the church. The Melby Funeral Home and Crematory in Platteville is serving the family. Memorials may be made to the John J.
