Kathleen M. McCloskey, 63, of St. Paul, MN passed away peacefully on March 17, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.

A memorial service was held on Friday, March 25 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, St. Paul Chapel.

Kathy was born in Hillsboro on June 14, 1952 to Donald and Elsie Sebranek.  She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1970.  She moved to St. Paul, MN and married Don McCloskey where they welcomed  two children: Nathan and Daniel (Jessica) Mc Closkey, two grandchildren Layla and Parks, all of St. Paul.

She worked as a cook/waitress for many years.  She was a very caring, loving, brave person.  With having to battle a variety of medical hurdles over the years, you never heard her complain, even when diagnosed with cancer in June 2015. She took that challenge head on, determined to win the fight.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don and father Donald.  Survived by sons, Nathan and Daniel (Jessica);  mother, Elsie; brother Tom (Rita) Sebranek of Houston, MN; sister, Ann (Kirby) Wong of Hillsboro, WI; grandchildren, Layla and Parks and many other loving family and friends.
