Mark G. Moody, 77, of Belmont, died on Monday, April 13, 2026, at his home of natural causes.

Visitation was Friday, April 17, from 4 – 7 p.m. at Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, and resumed Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. until service time at Peace Lutheran Church, Belmont. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, with Rev. Gus Barnes officiating. Burial followed at the Belmont Cemetery. The family encouraged everyone to dress a bit casually and wear their favorite Wisconsin team apparel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Belmont Volunteer Fire Department and/or EMS where Mark was a proud volunteer. Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.
