Marlene L. Truesdale was born on August 11, 1936 on the family farm in rural Richland County, Wisconsin.  She lived a life rooted in compassion, sprinkled with humor, and brimming with undying spirit. Her legacy is a testament to the joy of laughter, the warmth of thoughtfulness, and the power of love. She passed away on August 12, 2023, leaving behind a rich tapestry of memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 21, 2023 in Durand United Methodist Church, 102 East Main St. Durand, IL with Rev. Brenda Byrne officiating.  Burial will be in Durand Township Cemetery.  A visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home - Durand Chapel 101 Main St. Durand, IL from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 20, 2023.

 In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Durand United Methodist Church, PO Box 168 Durand, IL 61024.
