Neil C. Riter, 86, of Cuba City, formerly of Platteville, died on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Epione Pavilion, Cuba City.  
 Neil was born on Oct. 10, 1927 in Kendall Township, rural Belmont, the son of Charles and Olga (Huss) Riter.

A celebration of life was at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.  Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Platteville, at a later date.  Friends called from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.
