Patricia E. Sake, age 83 years, of Hillsboro, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.

She was born on Aug. 25, 1931 to Joseph E. and Grace (Tlougan) Conway in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Patricia was united in marriage to Robert R. Sake on Aug. 25, 1948 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mount Tabor.

They operated a dairy farm near Mount Tabor for many years.  She was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hillsboro.  She enjoyed her dogs, gardening and raising flowers, watching birds, knitting and sewing and was an avid reader, but most of all she loved her family and was proud of her grandchildren.  Robert preceded her in death on July 19, 1993 and she later moved into Hillsboro.

Survivors include her children, Rozanne (Darrow) Novy of Hillsboro, Tom (Deb) Sake of Hillsboro, John (Vicki) Sake of La Crosse, and Jim Sake of Hayward; grandchildren, Julie (Dave) Fronk, Dave (Kirsten) Novy, Lisa (Mark) Ira, Danny (Cathy) Novy, Chad Sake, Nicole Sake, Chris Sake, Tanner Pierzina, Jack McHugh-Sake, Olivia Sake, Kenadie Sake, Hannah Sake and Mason Sake; great grandchildren, Haley Fronk, Heather Fronk, Jake Ira, Kylie Ira, Cameron Novy, Caitlin Novy, Alexis Sake, Aiden Sake and Kaylee Sake; sister-in-law, Verta Schoenberg of Hillsboro and niece, Vicky (Doug) Novy of Hillsboro and their family.

In addition to her husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Robert and Richard Sake.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hillsboro, with Father Don Bauer officiating.  Burial was in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Mount Tabor.  Friends called at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Monday, April 20 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. and at the Church on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m.  For online information go to www.pichafuneralhomes.com
