Richard J. Mead, age 95, of Janesville died on September 1, 2016, at Cedar Crest, Janesville.

Per Richard’s request, his body was donated to the UW Body Donor Program, Madison. Richard’s family will meet friends in the Social Room on the main floor of the Cedar Crest Apartments, 1700 South River Road, Janesville, on Sunday, September 25, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Janesville Senior Citizen Center. The family is being assisted by Henke-Clarson Funeral Home.
