Shirley A. Burkholder, 82, Platteville, died on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque after a brief illness with her family at her side.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 1 at the Melby Funeral Home and Crematory in Platteville. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery in Platteville. Visitation was from 3–6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 31 at the Melby Funeral Home and Crematory and after 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Memorials may be made to the Shirley A.
