Stanley William Barr, age 91, died peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2024. After growing up in Grant County, Wisconsin, Stan graduated from Winona State Teacher’s College in 1954 with a teaching degree in physical education and history. A Celebration of Stan’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11 am at First Lutheran Church 218 County Rd K New Richmond, WI.  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 4-8 pm at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services 728 S Knowles Avenue New Richmond, WI and on Saturday from 10-11 am at the church.  Interment will be in the New Richmond Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the School District of New Richmond for the Stanley and Donna Barr Memorial Scholarship Fund. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
