Stanley D. Yeazle, age 74 of Belmont, formerly of Darlington, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at his home in Belmont. He was born Aug. 12, 1943 in Superior, Wis., the son of James and Nettie (Sibley) Yeazle. Stanley attended school in Spooner, Wis. He was born and raised in Trego, Wis., until he was in his 30’s when he moved to Darlington where he worked as a sanitary worker and raised his family.
Stanley is survived by two daughters: Robin (Timothy) Hafeman and Betty Yeazle both of Belmont; two granddaughters: Ashlynn and Brooklyn Hafeman; one sister: Joyce Backer of Rice Lake; one brother: Gerald (Lynn) Yeazle of Darlington; and a special friend: Alice Yeazle. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters: Mary Lou Moyer, Jean Payson, Janice Payson, Betty Yeazle, and Laura Strinke; and one brother: James Yeazle.
Stanley cherished his daughters and granddaughters and the memories they created together more then anything else in the world. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and had a knack for fixing lawn mowers. Stanley will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
A visitation for Stanley will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home (508 Main Street, Darlington). Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com.
For those who prefer, a memorial fund has been established in Stanley’s name.
