Virgil L. Hatfield, 84, of rural Hillsboro died on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Pine Valley Community Village in Richland Center. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 1, at 11:30 a.m. at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center, with Pastor Craig Peach officiating.  Burial will be held at the Czech National Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call on Thursday, August 1, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m.  Memorials can be given to the Yuba First Responders.  Luncheon will follow at the Yuba Community Center.  Online condolences can be made at www.clarymemorialfuneralhome.com.
