William “Bill” Melby, 85, Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 29 surrounded by his family at the Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center.

The visitation for Bill was held on Friday, Sept. 5 at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 424 Hyde Park Ave., Waukesha, from 9 a.m. until the time of the Elk’s Lodge of Sorrow service at 11 a.m. His funeral service immediately followed. The Reverend Andrew Fetters officiated. Burial with military honors immediately followed the service at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.
