Winifred Robson “Winnie” (Beck) McDaniel, age 99, of Darlington, passed away Monday, Sept.  15, 2014, at Lafayette Manor in Darlington. She was born Oct. 29, 1914 in Benton, the daughter of John Garfield and Margaret Gibson (Robson) Beck.
    Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Darlington United Methodist Church, 546 Park Place in Darlington with Rev. Larry Hakes officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation was held Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, from 3:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home, 508 Park Place in Darlington, and concluded with an Eastern Star service at 6:30 p.m.  A visitation was also held Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
