Seneca girls can’t keep up with Tigers after Wallin foul

SENECA - The Seneca girls basketball team played Hillsboro last Friday. The Indians lost 48-38. 

Seneca tied it up at the half 23-23, but came up short at the final buzzer. 

The Indians were within five points most of the second half. Senior forward Savanna Wallin was in foul trouble in the second half and fouled out with over four minutes left. 

Senior guard Makenna Greene led Seneca in scoring with 19 points and Savanna Wallin had 12. Rounding out the scoring for Seneca, freshman Ella Greene had four points, while junior Maxine Grover had two points and freshman Kendra Chambers had one point. 

Seneca plays Wonewoc-Center on Thursday, Jan. 2 at home.
