The Benton varsity volleyball team closed out the regular season last Tuesday night with a 3-0 loss to visiting Belmont.
The loss dropped coach Russ Hamm's squad to a Six Rivers West record of 2-10, leaving them at the bottom of the conference standings.
This year's conference title belongs to Potosi and River Ridge, both of whom finished 11-1 in league play.
The Zephyrs kicked off play in their WIAA Division 4 regional bracket this past Tuesday night, where they traveled to Seneca. Results from that match will be in next week's Tri-County Press.
