PATCH GROVE – It’s no secret among coaches in the Six Rivers West conference that River Ridge is going to come at you hard on the defensive end, and make you earn every point in an attempt to speed you up and create a frenzy.

The co-op girls basketball team from Potosi/Cassville experienced the defensive intensity of coach Caron Townsend’s Timberwolves last Thursday night in a lop-sided 53-27 River Ridge victory.

With the win, coach Townsend’s Timberwolves improved to 4-0 in the Six Rivers West and 10-1 overall, while coach Brad Bierman’s Chieftains fell to 0-2 in league play and 3-5 overall, with the loss.
