LANCASTER – With a very efficient offensive performance and an equally aggressive defensive effort, the Lancaster varsity football team improved to 2-0 this season with a decisive 35-7 victory over visiting Cuba City last Friday night.
The Flying Arrows scored five touchdowns on their first eight possessions, and was forced to punt just once during the entire non-conference contest.

Coming away with five tackles, 1.5 for a loss was senior Jacob Ihm, while junior Jacob McCabe also had five tackles and fellow junior Ethan Klar had two for a loss.

This Friday night, the Arrows (2-0) will again be at home, as they host Black River Falls (0-2), who is coming off a 20-6 loss to Tomah, after starting the season with a 48-6 loss to Sparta.
