Jim and Joanie (JoAnn Banwarth) Gassman, Platteville, were married Jan. 8, 1966 at St. Peter and Paul Church in Sherrill, Iowa.
They are the parents of four, Steve (Jenifer) Gassman, Scott (Theresa) Gassman, Kevin (Heather) Gassman and Rhonda (Kirby) Wehnke.
They have eight grandchildren, Ethan, Vanessa and Trevor Gassman, Lexie and Druw Gassman, Mason and Madeline Gassman, and Morgan Wehnke.
They will celebrate with a family dinner.
